The second title announced in January has been revealed: A Kiss For The Petals – Longing of an Angel (その花びらにくちづけを　天使のあこがれ Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke wo – Tenshi no Akogare). As noted previously, the art is credited to Aida Takanobu (会田孝信) of Kogado Studio, a visual novel company linked on Yurin Yurin’s website, and the writing credited to Madoka Madoka (円まどか), writer of Kogado Studio’s yuri visual novel White Robe Love Syndrome (白衣性恋愛症候群 Hakuisei Renai Shoukougun). However, contrary to what was been reported in the past, this title has been given the Sonohana name. Its connection to previous Fuguriya and Yurin Yurin titles is unknown.

A Kiss For The Petals – My Dear Prince Spanish Translation

The Spanish translation group Soulhunter no fansub has released a full Spanish translation of A Kiss For The Petals – My Dear Prince, under the title El Beso de los Petalos – Mi Querido Principe. The translation is based on the current English translation. As noted in the release page, due to limitations in the engine, accented characters are not possible, so some difficulty may arise for native readers.

As with the current translation, this translation supports only the original release of the visual novel. The remake revision released on 30 July 2011 and currently on sale in DLSite and other stores is not currently supported. It will require a rewrite of the patcher and an update of the script, but regrettably, I have been unable to address this in a timely fashion. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Today we’ve got an announcement about the quickly approaching Girls Love Festival 9 coming up next week~

Next week, on May 26th, Fuguriya will be participating in the girls-love-only event, Girls Love Festival 9~

Fuguriya – Soleil 35, 36

Madoka Madoka, the scenario writer for Yurin Yuri’s latest work, Longing of an Angel will also be in attendance the same day at Soleil 14~

Also, starting at 1:00 PM, manga artist Asagi Ryuu will be present with Kanduki Kamibukuro’s circle, Kamibukuro Works.
They’ll be signing autographs too, so they’re definitely worth checking out.

Additionally, Fuguriya’s latest product is the drama CD Risa’s Golden Vacation.
It’s going to hit the convention hall before it becomes available at doujin shops, so those of you who want it soon, be sure to check out the convention~

The commercial game brand for the Fuguriya staff’s mysterious trade, Yurin Yurin, will be holding a corporate booth at Girls Love Festival 9 as well~

Metal pins and wall scrolls for the latest release will be available throughout the event, as well as reprints of A3 wall scrolls and soft phone straps, so be sure to bring your friends~

A Kiss For The Petals – Chiaki-Ringo Theater Episode 01

Yurin Yurin published a new YouTube series titled Chia-Rin Theater (ちありん劇場  Chia Rin Gekijou) on 24 May 2013. This blog will refer to the series using the characters’ non-abbreviated names for clarity.

Like Risa-Miya Theater before it, it is a non-explicit mini-drama series to promote A Kiss For The Petals – Longing of an Angel. However, this video is very short compared to Risa-Miya Theater, and no scheduling details have been released at this time. Additionally, whereas Risa-Miya Theater began about five weeks ahead of the release of the visual novel it promoted, Longing of an Angel is scheduled for release in seven days.

A Yuri Project thread has been opened for translation of this series.

Reo-ppoi Radio Episode 55

YouTube user momoiro koneko has uploaded Reo-ppoi Radio 55 on their channel, which was originally uploaded on Niconico on 11 May 2013. Prior to the episode’s proper release, a draft version was uploaded that was short 1:17 of content from the final version. A pre-show was released the week prior. Izumi Ayaka guest hosts.

This episode features fan letter readings at 7:49.

As a counterpoint to Anzu Hana’s songs featured in previous episodes, the first ending theme of Fuguriya’s visual novels, Amai Hanazono, is included at 20:10. It was performed by Haruna Yumi, the previous voice of Oda Nanami.

Of interest is the mini drama segment at 22:32, which features Anzu Hana and Izumi Ayaka in alternate roles. Hana’s voice in this segment is markedly different from her usual role as Reo.

Let’s Study Global Yuri~n Yuri~n is not featured in this episode, but you can send in yuri-related phrases in your native tongue to reoppoi_radio★fuguriya.sakura.ne.jp (replacing the ★ with @) with the subject line 百合っぽいセリフ (English), with the language of the line you’re submitting changed accordingly. As for what constitutes a yuri-related phrase, no criteria was given. A Kiss For The Petals – Risa-Miya Theater Complete Release

The final version of Risa-Miya Theater is now available as a torrent file. These files are different than the previous releases on this site; all videos have been re-encoded, and the first five episodes have updated translations with quality check from Rika-chama and Virus123. In addition, several episodes have been manually edited to correct flaws in the source material. The individual download links on the previous release pages will be updated for the new versions. The videos on YouTube for episodes 1-5 will be replaced for the new translations; all episodes will be updated to include a link to this page.

Risa-Miya Theater (りさみや劇場 Risa Miya Gekijou) is a video series released by Yurin Yurin on YouTube between November and December of 2012 to promote A Kiss For The Petals – Maidens of Michael. Episodes 1-5 take place before Maidens of Michael, and episodes 6-10 take place after. The conclusion of episode 10 can also be seen as a prelude to A Kiss For The Petals – Lovers of the Atelier, the sequel to this visual novel. Despite this, these episodes are otherwise not directly related to the main story and are considered non-canonical. The English translation has been produced in collaboration with Yuri Project and edited to include a visual novel-style message window. English and Japanese subtitles are available, both of which mimic the text of the visual novel.

This episode takes place after Maidens of Michael and assumes that the viewer is familiar with the story of it. The series will be released on YouTube as well as on this website and Yuri Project in MKV format.

For the batch release, I have decided to re-encode the previous episodes to include additional QC from Rika-chama and Virus123 in the first five episodes, who joined the project after episode 5, as well as to correct flaws in the source material. These amended episodes will be available as a torrent and will replace the download links in the release posts.

Episodes will be collected in this YouTube playlist.

The MKV video file has two subtitle tracks – one including the English translation seen in the YouTube video, and another including the Japanese transcription on which it was based. The original videos did not have the message window from the visual novel A Kiss For The Petals – Maidens of Michael; it was encoded into the video by me. Please report any rendering issues to me if the text in the MKV file does not visually match the YouTube video, and all other issues in the Yuri Project thread.

Summary:
It’s the first Golden Week since Risa and Miya started going out.
Naturally, all their classmates will be taking trips overseas, but Miya says…
“We’ll just be staying at our holiday villa like we always do,”
and although she never actually says she wants to go, Risa ends up feeling a little dejected.

However, after coming to visit Risa in her room, things take a sudden turn when out of nowhere, Miya pleads, “Won’t you come with me to our holiday villa?”
And so… Risa decides to go stay with Miya at her summer villa!
The two of them share an indulgently frisky Golden Week, full of yuri goodness♪

In order to conserve space on the front page, effective with the next visual novel announcement, the information page for the previous release will be kept sticky for one week following the latest announcement, after which it will be removed from the top of the front page. Similarly, product release countdowns and banners in the sidebar will be kept there for at least two weeks following release.

Yurin Yurin has published the opening video for A Kiss For The Petals – Longing of an Angel on YouTube on 2 May 2013. The song in the video, “Darling Goona…” [sic] was previously published in Reo-ppoi Radio episode 54 and is the opening theme for this visual novel. As noted in Reo-ppoi Radio, this song was written and performed by Anzu Hana, who will have a leading role in one of two sequels planned for this year. See that post for more information.
