   I think the reason Reo-ppoi Radio stopped short of introducing your blog is highlighted in your last paragraph in Cray’s Notes, specifically this line, “I have been advised that it’s in the best interest of both Fuguriya and Eden of Xeno to keep mum on Music Box of Memories.” You have a direct tie to Xenocross and the unwritten rule in the Japanese world of doujin works is that while the author(s) of the original works will not impose restrictions on parody works made, said author(s) will also never acknowledge such works as to do so would be to open an unhealthy can of worms filled with copyright infringement and other such related legal problems. I think the reason they chose not to introduce your website is because to do so would indirectly force Fuguriya to acknowledge the existence of Xenocross and Music Box of Memories. This is only theory on my part however and you are advised to consult with Xenocross (or someone well-versed in doujin do and don’ts) if you want to confirm if my theory is correct or not.

     My site was linked in episode 7, which featured my first letter, long before my association with Eden of Xeno. I had much to worry about concerning the site’s content then as I did when I wrote my fourth letter. Music Box of Memories is itself fanart (albeit for-profit), so I didn’t think it would have been as much an issue as you say.

       But that’s the thing, it wasn’t a problem back them because you weren’t related to Eden of Xeno back then. Now that you are, it’s a different ball game. Like I said however, it’s conjecture on my part and could be completely wrong but this theory makes the most sense to me.

   My theory is that Fuguriya may be worried about westerners’ reactions to Sonohana. After all, we have to keep in mind that one of the couples is a teacher in her 20s and an elementary schooler who’s at best 12. Pretty sure the developers want to avoid unnecessary attention. Not only that, but as far as I know, the “christian fundamentalist/brainless moralist/fatass/war lover” American stereotype is pretty rampant in Japan (and a lot of other places in the world, including my country). While the stereotype is just a myth (except in Jesusland– I mean, the south), I can imagine how worried Fuguriya would be if certain groups of people find out about the series.

   Not only that, but many eroge developers are still suffering from the aftereffects of the conflict with that feminist group back in ’08. Minori, for instance, is refusing to release Ef uncensored in the west, with fear that the feminists may come back once again. Hell, a lot of developers still ban foreigners from accessing their websites, for probably the same reasons why Fuguriya doesn’t let us view their ‘site’s images.

     I mentioned all of these concerns in the past and I thought my letters could help to relieve some of them. It appears I was naive in this regard, as I was prepared for the worst and got no response.

   I was just thinking about something here and, out of curiosity, is there anyone at Fuguriya who can speak a foreign language, apart from English? Sorry, didn’t really know where to put this. orz.

     To my knowledge, no. I would like to hear a letter in English read on an episode with guests to determine if this is the case.
