Visual novel: A Kiss For The Petals – Maidens of Michael

Yurin Yurin opened its website at midnight Japan time on 21 July 2012. The site is twofold: one for Yurin Yurin itself, and another for their first product: A Kiss For The Petals – Maidens of Michael (その花びらにくちづけを ミカエルの乙女たち Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke wo – Michael no Otome-tachi), which was released on 30 November 2012. (This is a tentatively translated title.) Proxy pass-through is not required for either of these pages for images to load, as is the case with Fuguriya’s website. The site for the new release is not a single page, as with Fuguriya’s works; this new visual novel is much larger than anything Fuguriya has produced.

In anticipation of this release, Yurin Yurin is currently uploading a YouTube mini-drama series entitled Risa-Miya Theater, after the visual novel’s main characters. See my first post for it for more information. Yurin Yurin also posted “countdown voices” featuring very brief voice dramas between each couple for the last 12 days leading to the release. These are no longer available, so I am archiving them at this post along with English translations.

As a reminder, the possibility of an English license for this franchise depends entirely on the success of this first release. If at all possible, please support the developer. Your direct support is now more critical than ever.
Update 18 April 2013: Please see State of Localization for Yurin Yurin Products for updates on this topic.

Update 30 November 2012: A Kiss For The Petals – Maidens of Michael is available internationally at J-List. The price is currently $130.00, not including shipping.

Update 4 April 2013: Yurin Yurin has released this visual novel on at a price of 6,800 yen ($70.60 USD, €54.61 EUR, £46.36 GBP). See this post for buying instructions, which have been verified to work with U.S. credit cards.

Update 29 August 2014: Maidens of Michael is no longer available at J-List. See the Buying Guide for information on alternative places to purchase.

In the event that JAST USA obtains an English license for this release, those who purchase the visual novel from J-List will receive a free download code for the English version, as was the case with My Girlfriend is the President. However, this is entirely dependent on Yurin Yurin’s decision to follow through as there is no guarantee that JAST USA, or anyone else, will be granted a license, regardless of sales.

If you have played this visual novel, feel free to post your opinion of it in the comments, as well as link to reviews on visual novel website, be they positive or negative, but please do not submit spoilers. I will collect them in a future post.

A promotional video was published on 23 October 2012 and shows six scenes not currently seen elsewhere. See this post for a translation of the text. Below is a translated version of the video, an updated version of which you can download at the above post.

Much of the information of interest is posted on the website’s character page, including images, voice samples, and a relationship chart. The character designs have been redone and unified for this new release. You can see the new character images currently available in these two posts.

The new characters seen above are Azumi Risa 安曇璃紗 (left) and Ayase Miya 綾瀬美夜 (right). They are the lead couple for this visual novel, despite some fans’ expectations that no new couples would be introduced after the current five. Their information has been translated below from Getchu by Ralen.

安曇 璃紗
Azumi Risa

Class Representative of the Year 1 “Snow” class, and a classmate of Miya’s. Has an earnest and hardworking personality. As a hard-nosed person, she often finds herself in leadership positions.  She’s what you might call a high-class tsundere girl.

While she naturally does well academically and has common sense, whenever she gets into it with Miya, she always gets outreasoned and frequently stomps her feet. Having an unusually strong sense of shame, she gets flustered and briefly digs herself into a hole when thrust into a romantic relationship.

The half-Japanese daughter of a foreign company with a British mother. Built like a model, and the owner of enormous breasts.

綾瀬 美夜
Ayase Miya

A student of the Year 1 “Snow” class, and a classmate of Risa’s. A prominent genius on campus, but has difficulty in social situations. Doesn’t really take issue with people other than Risa, and socializes as little as possible.

Whenever she speaks with Risa it’s always abusive, but she’s actually covering her own embarrassment.  Her speech and behavior always keep others at a distance. She rarely shows her soft side and is unflappable. When she does show her soft side, she becomes timid and casts nervous glances from beneath her lashes.

Although you wouldn’t guess it from the way she talks, her behavior is actually quite ladylike. Possessing one of the most prominent intellects on campus, she has been offered the chance to study abroad and even skip grades, but she hates interacting with others, so she enrolled in the not particularly academically demanding school for high-class girls, St. Michael’s.

In addition to Risa and Miya, there is a previously unnamed character new to this visual novel named Houraisen Rena. Her profile has been translated by Procyon. See this post for more information and my past speculation on her debut as a newly on-screen character.

蓬莱泉 麗奈
Houraisen Rena

A new teacher at St. Michael’s. Runa’s older sister and Takako’s former tutor. Stylish and stunningly beautiful — the perfect girl. Outgoing and easygoing. Although she’s blunt and untidy, for some reason she has the kind of likeable personality that’s impossible to hate.  An alumnus of St. Michael’s, at the time, the teachers all praised her for being a well-behaved lady. But in actuality, she was chasing skirts left and right, regardless if they were seniors or juniors. It’s rumored her lovers numbered at nearly a hundred.

On 10 September 2012, Yurin Yurin published a diagram of all characters’ relationships as of the start of this visual novel. On 6 November 2012, four voice samples were posted for each character.

Character relationship diagram translated by Ralen and edited by me and Saluki.

Some profound implications can be seen in this diagram that affect the visual novel continuity. Nanami, Sara, and Risa are grouped together as friends. This implies that Nanami and Sara are in the same class, which is not explicitly stated in any of Fuguriya’s works. Also, Mai is grouped with class representatives Yuuna and Kaede. In Joined In Love With You, Mai states that she is treated like a representative by her classmates, but she never actually was one. The grouping implies this was changed. Additionally, Rena is a homeroom teacher for the first-year class, presumably Nanami, Sara, Risa, and Miya’s class, which would give Takako and Runa a tenuous connection with the rest of the campus, whereas in the past they’ve been secluded from it.

The story brief tells of a plot that covers at least three months and takes place in the winter, and also directly involves every character introduced in the franchise so far, all firsts for the series. It has been translated below by Ralen.

Today at Saint Michael’s School for Girls, the class representative for the first-year “Snow” Class, Azumi Risa, had once again been fighting with the class troublemaker, Ayase Miya.

Risa, who is earnest and hard-nosed, and Miya, who hates to cooperate with others, couldn’t have been less right for each other, as they were always on the verge of tearing each other’s throats out.

At the time, the whole school was in a festive mood with Christmas just around the corner.

As couples and spur-of-the-moment couples alike were flirtatiously carrying on, the whole school was abuzz with excitement over the “St. Michael’s Best Couple” poll being conducted by the student volunteers.

Risa, who was single, figured it didn’t concern her…

So then how did she and Miya end up being chosen?!

Although Risa naturally denied that they shared that kind of relationship, the classmates who had selected them would just smile with the reasoning of tempered young ladies who had been raised in respectable families and say, “You always look like you’re having so much fun.”

Resigning themselves, the two decided to go along with it, “Just for appearance’s sake,” and it seemed they would have to stick it out through the coming holidays of Christmas and Valentine’s Day along with four other couples as the committee members for various events.

And what’s more…

Those other four couples were practically the student council:

The president of the Environmental Protection Committee, Matsubara Yuuna, and her junior, Oda Nanami.

The renowned student model, Kitajima Sara, and her cousin, Kitajima Kaede.

The singing sensation of the cultural festival, Kawamura Reo, and her girlfriend, Sawaguchi Mai.

And last, but not least, the girls of the Lily Platinum fan club, exchange student Shitogi Eris, and the school’s foremost scribe, the highly respected Kirishima Shizuku.

In other words, only the most preeminent couples on campus.

Will the big name couples be able to handle the events that follow? And will Risa be able to survive the lovers’ holidays of Christmas and Valentine’s with Miya?

The twelve images currently available in the gallery confirm the return of every major character of the previous visual novels. Three observations can be drawn from them:

  1. Not only is every character present, but they are all seen with girls other than their girlfriends, with the exception of Takako and Runa. They are sequestered from the other pairs as they are in a different part of campus far removed from the two buildings that comprise the senior high classes. Previously, the couples of Takako/Runa and Shizuku/Eris were kept separate in official works from the first three couples, and although Shizuku and Eris have been integrated with them, it’s still not known if Takako and/or Runa will also be seen with them. However, as noted above, Rena’s position as homeroom teacher is very likely to change this.
  2. Risa is the only character seen more than twice in the sample images, and she is seen with Nanami and Sara. This visual novel therefore takes place in the same year as the rest, including those featuring Takako/Runa and Shizuku/Eris. In the cover illustration, Runa is seen with her uniform from the earlier visual novels, implying that she is still in the same grade as before.
  3. The fourth image in the gallery is reminiscent of a scene from the Comiket 81 extra volume. The fortunate timing of its translation in Xenocross and the release of that image is coincidental and I am very pleased with it.

An issue that most non-Japanese fans may not be aware of concerns Nanami’s voice actress from the visual novels, Haruna Yumi (春奈有美). Shortly after recording for the sixth visual novel, Kuchibiru to Kiss de Tsubuyaite (唇とキスで呟いて), was completed in 2009, she took an immediate hiatus from voice acting due to illness. She has not been heard from for three years. Nanami was played by Yasaka Nana (八坂菜々) in the drama CD Dream-like Days (夢のような日々 Yume no you na Hibi). Although Yumi was originally slated to return in Maidens of Michael to reprise her role, it was announced on 19 October 2012 that she was replaced by Takanashi Konoko (小鳥遊このこ). The voice samples for Nanami seem to be similar in pitch to her voice in Dream-like Days. The reason for this sudden change is currently unknown, but it was due to unforeseen circumstances.

Maidens of Michael will go on sale on 30 November 2012 for 9,240 yen, currently equivalent to approximately $118.05 USD, €92.37 EUR, and £73.02 GBP. If you are interested in pre-ordering from a Japanese source, see this page for various pre-order prices and incentives by store. It is expected to be far more substantial and lengthy than any of Fuguriya’s earlier works — it will ship on a DVD-ROM, as opposed to CD-ROMs as with all of Fuguriya’s products — but it is unknown if there will be more than one route. It is also unknown if there will be a downloadable version available in addition to the disc version. The Download section currently contains Twitter icons and 2048 x 1280 wallpapers, a higher-quailty version of the promotional video and hotlink code for promotional banners. The wallpapers are optimized for use on Twitter but can also be used on your desktop.

You can follow Yurin Yurin on Twitter (@yurinyurin_soft), where they post updates for the site and retweet images of promotional material for Maidens of Michael at Japanese game stores. Anticipation for this new commercial product is robust in the Japanese markets, as can be seen by the numerous store displays featuring Yurin Yurin’s banners. They are also capable of communicating in English, so feel free to follow and tell them of your anticipation of the new visual novel directly.

  1. sound really nice 6 picture make think a lot, and if scope is big it will be fun 2 play, thou spending 100$ sounds hard for me atleast, pure country after all:D, but i think i will buy it.

  2. Guess I’ll have to start saving because 100$ for me right now is way too much for a game. But games in Japan are usually very expensive, so I’m not surprised.

  3. Wow, this is pretty exciting news! Can’t wait to see this new big game! 😀

As for the new couple: …a girl with long, pink hair and hair that’s down but also with twintails with red ribbons paired with a girl with long black and a black headband? I’m not the only one seeing the Puella Magi Madoka Magica parallels here, am I? Though their personalities seem totally different! IDK, I’m not really much fond of the whole Belligerent Sexual Tension trope, and honestly I think Hanabira’s kinda done as much with tsundere as it really can for the moment, but welp, I guess a bunch of people still like it, so ah well. And d’awww, Risa looks really, really cute… <3 And pfft, I actually really like that whole 'pretending to be going out' trope, even if it is pretty corny… XD

Really looking forward to seeing all the characters interacting with one another, though! It really makes the characters so much more lively when you can see them bouncing off lots of different personalities, IMO!

  4. OG here. So Akysmet won’t let me safely post here either? What a drag. Like I said in my “spam” post, a Madoka Magica and Sono Hanabira crossover sounds like an epic idea to me.

  5. AW YEAH. This sounds amazing and I love it.

…and I hadn’t noticed how much the two here look like Madoka and Homura… huh.

  6. Man oh man how I wish I could buy it! and the (I think) fourth picture in the arts gallery was hillarious, hahaha Reo´s doesn´t have it easy has she 🙂

  7. When I saw this announcement early this month, I can’t help but wear this wide grin on my face.
I’m kinda excited with this new game since the other characters from the previous games will appear together 🙂
And I’m looking forward to meet Runa’s Onee-san XD

  8. Ah damn.. I didn’t notice they looked like Madoka and Homura.. Now I can’t get that off my mind D: I really wouldn’t like this if it would be a crossover >__<

  9. When I first saw Risa, I actually thought this would be about the grown up Hanahira girls. Was a little disappointed when I found out that wasn’t the case, but quickly got excited again as I read on.
Wow, I really can’t wait for this. All the main couples in one game? Count me in!

  10. Can’t wait to play! Just one question (sorry if it’s a stupid one), but I would like to know if Hanabira is the kind of game that you can actually have it, I mean if you can have it in your hands or if it’s the kind of game that you can only have on pc, I mean you pay for download, you see?

    1. This is still to be determined, but since there has yet to be any mention of a downloadable version, I would assume that this release will be on disc only.

  11. An official translation… To be honest, I am not sure what to think of this. Sono Hanabira is perhaps one of the most unique intellectual properties in Japan, as the only other thing I can even remember as straight yuri (and witthout the really hardcore stuff) is Shoujo Sect ~Innocent Lovers~.

Being that it is a unique IP, distribution to the United States – legal or otherwise – has had subtle impact. As such, with the scales remaining precariously balanced as we await the aftergame of how this move will affect the fan translation community, I can’t confidently say that proper licensing is worth the risk of what could possibly be irreversibly bringing an end to its spread throughout the international community. Alone, not only do the issues that come with a new distribution network worry me, but so does the actual quality of the translations.

I will go ahead and say that right now, Sono Hana is being excellently translated, by yourself as well as others (again, though, I think the first game’s patches need to be relooked over and redone to match current methods). Yet, what happens to this if JAST/EOX/you are allowed to bring it over by time’s end? And this is one of several things that some along with myself find worrying.

Perhaps, though, this can continue, because as I’ve mentioned before when talking about Doki’s translation of Tomoyo After ~It’s a Wonderful Life~ (and yes, it’s coming! I expect news within the month), the Japanese almost certainly have ingrained within them “anmoku no ryoukai” (permission of the dark). As some who are experts in the field may tell you (personally, I paid attention to Roland Kelts, a well-known expert on interactions between the Japanese and international markets for anime/manga/VNs/etc.), the Japanese likely are much more aware than they seem to be, but they simply leave it alone. Why else is Comiket allowed to sell unofficial derivative materials by the bunches?

All in all, I suggest that you keep a level head, make sure you know what you’re talking about, and do not explicitly state anything to them. As for the rest, I wish you good luck and I hope to await good news.

    Per Laborem ad Astra,

  12. ……i wonder if i am the only person here that dont care or like Madoka….

Still i am hoping for the best, and i love Miya description! She sounds cute and interesting ^^
(And Omg another tsun?Peko is collecting them or what?XD)

  13. we can only pre-order from getchu ? i cant read kanji so its kinda hard for me to purchase from that site @@

    1. There are other places to pre-order, but Getchu was the first shop that was pointed out to me. Feel free to suggest alternative stores if you find the appropriate listing as all of them will have different pre-order incentives.

  14. when my friend post an announcement in facebook, i was browsing using crap phone with small pic display in my school and her comment are just informing the release date. first i was think.. “hm? Madoka x Homura o-O?” without opening the link…

when i opened it via laptop, OMG NEW SONOHANA!! ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆
and i was dancing like mad people when i saw Kaede with her Santa Outfit へ(゜∇、°)へ

looks like i have to suspend my figma purchase to buy this, well lets see if this worth ( ̄ー ̄)

  15. I Heard the voices….Mai and Reo sounds different…
    …Mainly Reo!>.<

I dont care about the changing in your body style…but the hair too??WHY PEKO?WHY?
    -cries blood-

    1. I can assure you that the voice casting has not changed, save for Nanami’s voice. Any difference you may hear is possibly due to access to higher-end recording solutions afforded by Yurin Yurin’s professional budget.

      1. You are right! I downloaded and checked it out
and thanks God Reo’s hair just isnt this bad(just in her front image…unfortunately…)
But about Nanami…yes i have to agree with some people, her voice on this is really terrible to hear.

By the way…I really wanted to know what goes on in that miya’s head…she looks a very funny character, pity that there are no translations available yet ^^
Risa has a such adorable face when she is thoughtful or troubled, i just want to poke her cheek x3

I just found odd that in the description of the Miya’s character says that she does not have the ability to say “I love you” or something alike
but at the end of the H scene she actually says it … I wonder what happens here…maybe this is one of the last scenes?well i dont know.

but i would love to see the characters interacting with each other ^^

  16. just downloaded the trial version and all I can say is…..SUGOI!!!! not to be rude or anything but I think I’m gonna puke at Nanami’s new voice…i guess nobody can replace her old seiyuu…I will miss her cute moans and ukyaas~

      1. I agree….Not to be rude but the new one looks like a cat scratching a blackboard to my ears T_T

  17. “Big breasts are the enemy” huh Reo?Heh dont come into contradictions my dear.
I am sure that you do love Mai’s breasts.( ̄ー ̄)

  18. Oh my god, Risa & Miya.

    Nodoka (Saki) x Homura?!

Just kidding, of course. Anyway, I found it really strange how Mai’s voice was far more quieter than everybody else’s, and frankly, fuzzier, but like you mentioned before, it’s because of the lower quality recording studios. And oh gosh, Reo’s eyes. They are SO pretty in this game, I can’t even… That is the most perfect shade of blue. I also like Mai’s new pose,

Well, anyway, I finished Risa x Miya’s route, and let me just say that while it’s cute (like the other games), it felt really… well, for one, very slow paced, and two, nothing really happened. Their route was really ordinary. Well, first the most part anyway.

I felt that this route was a bit… cliche. Risa & Miya get on each other’s nerves, couldn’t be less right, but in actuality, they like each other but they don’t know it yet. I’ve seen lots of anime’s, and this is definitely not the first time I’ve seen something like this… or the second… or the third. Really though, the scenes before the actual route were slow and were quick to lose my attention. The first 5-10 or so minutes revolved around Risa and Miya’s current relationship, and how Miya’s just super calm and skips classes while Risa’s the hard headed but likeable class rep. Then, it moves onto the best couples of St. Michael’s All Girls School (where it introduces Yuuna, Nanami, Sara, Kaede, Mai, Reo, Shizuku and Eris). After that, Risa is seen interacting with Nanami and Yuuna (possibly in a committee meeting). She also bumps into Mai & Reo shortly afterwards when Mai is chasing Reo, who knocks Risa down.

And following that, Risa is seen hunting down Miya, and she finds her in her special place, the atelier in the school. More interactions, and finally, after about 20 minutes (assuming the player is not skipping), we finally get to introduced to the premise of the “Best Couples” event. After the introduction to the concept, the game goes on and on, where Risa expresses her disinterest (for lack of a better word. In actuality, it’s about how she doesn’t really care ~that~ much because she has no involvement in the event due to her being single) for this event. Following that, when the students hosting the event begin announcing the names of the couples participating (obviously Yuuna x Nanami, Sara x Kaede, Mai x Reo and Shizuku x Eris), Risa is late for this announcement, and when she arrives, the students mention that there is one unexpected pairing that has been entered in the event: Risa x Miya.

Miya, of course, is not there for the announcement because she’s a genius and if at all, rarely attends classes. Risa goes off storming to the teacher’s lounge and demands to be withdrawn. However, Rena informs her that she is only allowed to resign IF Miya consents to it as well. Risa runs off and grabs Miya from the atelier. When they get back to the office, Risa then fills Miya in and explains the situation to her. Miya giggles at the idea of them being nominated for one of the best couples, but instead of consenting to the resignation, she decides to compete, much to Risa’s horror. Rena then pressures Risa into making a decision, and this is where the player makes a decision. However, regardless of which option you choose, you will still end up competing. So Risa reluctantly agrees to participate, and the story begins from there.

The two get put into the student council, along with the other couples. They do some silly activities together like… an eating contest (with the two finalists being Miya and Yuuna). For about 30-45 minutes, it’s mostly about the couples, preparing for events, randomly interacting with each other like any ordinary 15-18 year old girl would do. Nanami, Sara and Risa do some bonding, and things get somewhat hilarious when Sara decides to inquire about how Nanami and Risa met their loved ones (and it’s just funny because Risa doesn’t know how to respond, since she doesn’t actually like Miya), and she even goes as far as hinting at wanting to know about their sex lives.

More average interactions here and there. It goes on for ages. I forget how the order goes, but at one point, Miya collapses in front of Risa, and she rushes her to the nurse’s office, where Miya is diagnosed with a common fever, much to Risa’s relief. The player is then given the option to other stay by Miya’s side, and watch her fall asleep, or to leave the minute she dozes off. At some point, the player gets reintroduced to Takako & Runa. More things here, the girls host a Christmas event where they are dressed as Santas and hand out little bags with treats in them (and a nice OST is playing in the background in this scene. “We Wish You a Yurry Christmas” … yes, it’s actually spelt like that) ~~DEPENDING ON WHAT CHOICES YOU’VE MADE BEFORE, YOU CAN CHOOSE WHICH ROUTE YOU WANT TO GO DOWN AFTER THE TREAT GIVING SCENE. If you made choices that would NOT lead you to Risa x Miya (a.k.a. anything that makes Risa ~not~ see Miya in a romantic way), you can actually CHOOSE which route you want to go down here. You will have the choices between Yuuna x Nanami, Sara x Kaede, Mai x Reo, Shizuku x Eris and I BELIEVE Takako x Runa as well, but I’m not sure.

Risa shows a little bit of admiration for Miya in one scene, Reo harasses and molests Eris too. Well anyway, back on track. After the treat giving scene, IF the player is going down the Risa x Miya route, the two girls will be back in the atelier, watching fireworks together. Miya whips out some champagne, and they drink it together. Things get awkward when Miya blatantly asks if Risa has feelings for her, which startles her. Risa begins thinking back to one of the times she’s chased after Miya. She falls asleep on a bench in the garden, and Miya finds her, only to seat herself next to Risa. Unbeknownst to Risa, Miya calls her cute, and puts on a cunning smile, telling her to be careful because she doesn’t know what she might do to her.

Risa tunes back into reality, and naturally, Miya is curious as to why Risa was so deep in thought. She asks if she’s okay, and Risa does not respond. After a few seconds, Miya asks Risa if she hates her, and if she does hate her, Miya gives her the option to leave the room (she doesn’t mean it as if she were trying to kick her out, but was just giving her the option if things were getting too awkward for her). Risa hesitates, and Miya presses her for an answer. Risa then responds saying she won’t leave (she says it twice for emphasis). Miya then walks up to her (Risa compliments her smell in her head), and kisses her (and it’s a BEAUTIFUL CG).

That night, Risa dwells over the kiss, and is unable to sleep. Finally, at the end of the scene, she has seemingly accepted her feelings for Miya. Later, she and Miya decide to meet up on New Years Day, and they go out for a walk. Of course, ‘coincidentally’, they meet Yuuna, Nanami, Sara and Kaede, but that’s besides the point. The most important thing in this scene is the fact that Risa and Miya are holding hands. Eventually, Miya takes the initiative and locks fingers with Risa. After the walk, Miya visits Risa’s room (and it’s really frilly and pink), but an H-scene doesn’t ensue because Risa is not ready yet.

I’m going to stop here because not much conflict appears after this. All that happens is that Risa decides she is ready for ecchi, and they do it a couple times. After more normal interactions, they win best couple, another ecchi scene here and there and one at the end. Nothing else, really. See what I mean by ordinary?

I also played Mai x Reo’s route, and it was pretty adorable.

It’s mainly about Reo’s relationship with Eris. I skimmed through this route, and what I got from it was something about Reo, wanting to be friends with Eris, but because of her usual bashful nature, she’s unable to honest with Eris. In one of the major scenes, Reo runs out of the student council room after an incident and of course, Mai chases after her. She confronts Reo, who breaks down into tears and admits she likes Eris and desperately wants to be friends with her, but because she’s so tsuntsun all the time, she’s afraid Eris hates her. Mai comforts her, and takes her back to the student council room, and Eris and Shizuku are no longer there. Reo declares that she wants to throw a party for Eris and Shizuku to earn their forgiveness for the earlier incident, and finally, when they come back, Reo confesses that she wants to get along with Eris, who accepts.

… And no, it’s not a love confession (but because I skimmed, I was convinced that Reo was in love with Eris because she screams, “DAISUKI”, during the breakdown scene)

I’m currently in the middle of playing Sara x Kaede’s route, and later, I’ll be doing Eris x Shizuku. I’ll post more spoilers here later on if people want me to. :3

    1. If you can post your thoughts elsewhere where you can properly mark your spoilers (e.g. a blog post or forum thread), please do so. I will remove this comment and replace it with a link. I am seeking reviews and summaries of this visual novel for an index.

      1. Yeah, I think I might be able to start up a review blog sometime this week and post a few summaries of the Sono Hanabira games and some of my thoughts there as well. Thanks for the suggestion, and I’ll let you know when it’s up– if you don’t mind, that is.

    1. if you keep choosing the upper option, when you were at the chapel there’ll be 5/7 options where you will end up with the pairing that you want.

I hope it really helps you
